Accordion Album - Great for Journaling!

I've recently taken an interest in journaling. There are so many things I can put into my journals - my holidays, events, food, outings and making a recipe book! This leads me to think about how can I put my thoughts and pictures in a nice flow? And snap! The idea of an accordion album came to mind. So I picked up my tools and started working on one.

It's not too difficult to make. You'll need good quality paper, definitely, to makes the pages. I chose black because it's a good colour to contrast against. Since it's hard to to get a long piece of black paper, I have to connect several 3-pages to get my final piece of 12-pages. With careful alignment, this should not be a problem. For the covers, use hard cardboards and have them wrapped up with papers of your favourite colours. In this case, I use sky blue (yes it's sky blue though the picture doesn't do it justice). You get to choose your own colours since you're the boss! How fun is that? Very!

Flatback Buttons

New in our store are these very cute flatback buttons. I can think of 1 million and 1 ways (ok, a bit of exaggeration here) to use them. I can use them in sewing projects such as little baby hats and pencil cases. I can of course include them into scrapbooks or photo frames or cards. I can stick them onto jars or bottles. I can use them to decorate any dull spots that I lay my eyes on. And because they have flat backs, it's easy to apply adhesive materials on them.
